I'm Jo Katsaras: costume designer, fabric collector and storyteller.

After decades of designing costumes for film and television, working with filmmakers such as Anthony Minghella, John Boorman and Phillip Noyce, I realised the thing I loved most wasn't fashion in the traditional sense. It was character. Clothes that feel lived in, unforgettable, slightly rebellious and completely their own.

It all began in Thailand, although I didn't know it at the time. I was working as costume designer on Netflix's Thai Cave Rescue, with absolutely no plan to start a clothing brand. I got muddy, worked long days and disappeared down roads I probably wouldn't have found otherwise. I met craftspeople, wandered through markets, and looked at textiles, colour, print and the way people dressed.

Over the years, I've gathered fabrics from all over the world: beautiful linens, cottons and handwoven textiles collected like souvenirs from different chapters of life. Every print, colour and texture tells a story, and somewhere along the way those discoveries started to take shape. Years later, this brand emerged.

I lean into vintage soul and storytelling, designing original fabrics and creating pieces that are expressive, effortless and made to be worn on real adventures. My pieces are less about trends and more about character: clothes that spark conversation, feel easy to wear and somehow become part of your identity.

I love iconic prints, unexpected colour, refined details and natural fabrics that feel beautiful on the body. Everything is thoughtfully designed and carefully finished, blending a little wanderlust, a little mischief and a lot of soul, and it still carries a little of that first journey with it.
